I started this during quarantine. With my personal drive lower than it has ever been, I reached out for something familiar and nostalgic.
I love video games and that foundation was fully formed and cemented by the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). This Project is about the first memories and some times only memories of games that I had an experience with as a child. I chose the collectible card format as another nod to my childhood. The core challenge was to distill the opening areas of as many videogames as I could into a small simple image reflecting my memories and also mimicking the limited color palette of the NES. Rob3rt the Robot and the Ocular Resonators. (Children's Book) This particular book is aimed at children with social disabilities.
The goal was to create a more entertaining book that also taught a lesson in socializing over a moral lesson.
